Trashed
This article is about heroin use in St. Charles where a community neglects
to acknowledge the fact that it is becoming a serious problem for them.
This is a serious issue that needs to be taken very serious because this spike
in heroin use in the community has already taken several teenagers lives.
But a reason why the community refuses to come to terms with this situation is
beyond reasoning because there is no reason for people to neglect to react to
solve this problem. Anywhere teens try to revert attention of heroin use in the white community by placing the white teen that had ODed on heroin, by placing the kid into a black neighborhood trying to avoid any attention that the situation drew. What kind of community raises kids that are so scared of a tarnished reputation of their community. This situation is an example of how where media has brainwashed kids to think that poor black neighborhoods are a prime area for drug use. We need to change this terrible cycle that causes many people to believe stereotypes that are hardly true. This terrible cycle has caused many conflicts between people causing a division between two parts of the communities.
